At 2.00 am ET Thursday, Germany’s producer price data for April is due. Economists forecast producer price inflation to rise to 5.1 percent from 3.7 percent in March.
Ahead of the data, the euro held steady against its major counterparts.
The euro was worth 132.94 against the yen, 1.2180 against the greenback, 1.1009 against the franc and 0.8627 against the pound at 1:55 am ET.
